The ‘Foundation’ is at a point in its journey where we have a number of proven programmes, all of which can deliver real change- what we need now is for individuals and groups to join with us. We need you! Together, we can make the changes that we all want to see.
Our core goal is to deliver real change- to our environment and to our peoples, our communities- and to inspire others to do likewise, globally.
As a registered charitable Foundation (UK) we want to affect real change. We work with individuals and groups to help them deliver change. We work on fundamental building blocks- Experiential Learning- helping individuals to develop and grow in themselves, to empower; we each of us are on an individual journey, finding ourselves- Know Thyself- through working to affect change we have an
opportunity to discover who we really are and to learn to follow our own, individual, path. We are a Grassroots project, working with individuals and communities both in the UK and globally. We feel this is the only way to affect real change. Wellness thinking is essential if change is to be sustained.

Over the years we have built a ‘family’ of organisations to affect change. Proyecto Ambiental Tenerife started life as a Spanish ‘Asociation’ (Charity) with the aim of creating employment in rural Tenerife, where there is high youth unemployment as a direct result of mass tourism. This morphed into a role in developing and managing the volunteering programme on the whale watching boats, something we have done now for some 35 years. We created a British charitable foundation, The Atlantic Whale & Dolphin Foundation CIO to develop this programme and have provided low cost volunteering to tens of thousands of young people that otherwise wouldn’t have had such a great opportunity. Many of these young people have gone on to great work in education, conservation and research and all had a great time- European Festival of the Whale, cetacean mural, International Spring Dolphin Festival…..
We remained open throughout Covid and accepted volunteers from other organisations as alternatives were not available. These were young people paying far more for their experience and who resented the fact that their ‘sending’ organisations were making so much money out of them, in one case over £1,000pw over and above what we were receiving. Never again, the only way onto our programme now is direct through us.
Several years ago we had our hands slapped for working with elephants in Sri Lanka and Hill Tribes in Vietnam, not really Atlantic Oceans or whales and dolphins. They, the Charity Commission advised us to create a broader, umbrella foundation- The Fair Earth Foundation CIO. It has a global remit to protect our shared environment and global communities.

Within our Family
True Fair Eco Tourism CIC
facilitates wealth creation in our global communities through building and delivering great volunteer programmes and ‘local’ activities working with local activity providers, accommodation, logistics…. This year we are developing retreats- Earth Week & Festival, Anu Art workshops, Wellness programmes, Education travel initiatives from scuba diving to Mindfulness to Art of Living and much much more.

True Fair Trading CIC
our fair trade arm, truly fair trade because we know personally the individuals, their families and communities that we buy from and the proceeds go back to them. We buy the most beautiful plant pots in the world and sell them through RHS garden Shows- Chelsea, Hampton Court, Tatton, Malvern etc. Great fun. Supporting rural communities.

Global Village & Anu Art
fund are both delivered through this enterprise. Micro financing, helping individuals and communities ‘stand on their own feet’ is central to our strategies.
|
Asociation Whalefund
is our Spanish ‘charity’ promoting ethical tourism including whale watching for the benefit of both people and the environment. We access Erasmus funding through this Asociation.
