The Atlantic Whale & Dolphin
Foundation

CIO (No. 1167109)

Has a remit across the Atlantic Ocean and neighbouring seas to protect cetaceans through education, conservation and research. It’s operational base is in Tenerife where it runs the volunteer programme on the whale watching boats, one of the biggest whale watching operations in the world. Many thousands of young people from around the world have benefited through this volunteering.

All volunteers that pass through the AWdF are given a symbolic £50 Global Citizenship Voucher to invest into causes combatting global issues. We want all our Global Citizens to be the change we all need in the world.
True Fair Trading CIC (No. 08212298)

Buys artisanal products from around the world and sells them on at events such as RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows with the profits being reinvested through the communities we work with in education and micro-finance initiatives.

We have also set up our new Art & Nature Programme in order to reconnect youth with nature through art by supplying schools and groups across the UK with True Fair Trade terracotta pots from our artisans in Sri Lanka for them to paint.

Coming soon: Programmes rolling out across Europe

True Fair Eco Tourism CIC (No. 07896287)

Is a ‘not for profit’ developing ecotourism opportunities around the world so that local communities can economically benefit from tourism that is friendly to their culture, nature and environment. We see this as a key income driver to helping disadvantaged communities stand on their own feet as opposed to requiring ‘charity’. We also feel that the tourist gains a more enriching experience in the process.

One of our biggest ecotourism opportunities is going to see the Whales & Dolphins of Tenerife on our trusted whale watching boats.

Coming soon: Projects in Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Sao Tome

The London Eco Film Festival (LEFF)

Is not just an annual event, it is in fact a year long programme supporting film makers, musicians, photographers, storytellers and other creatives, allowing them to thrive and tell their stories. We are determined to help focus individuals in the creative arts to allow them to communicate their ideas, with the event held annually in November providing a unique platform for them to present their work.

The mission of the LEFF is:

To Bear Witness
To Give A Voice
To Raise Awareness
To Inform, Excite and Inspire
To Empower

To Facilitate
The British Expedition Society (BES)

Provides opportunities for young people to travel to countries with different environments and cultures in order to learn, grow and broaden their skill sets. Our Expeditions also allow our Explorers to gain understanding of other countries and cultures and to improve language skills. We build self-confidence and independence. Individuals learn how to support, lead and follow, developing social skills, a sense of local and global community, and respect and responsibility.

Our Explorers come from a wide variety of backgrounds; from communities facing high levels of economic and social deprivation and from those where expectations of personal and professional success are high. Often, these people would never cross paths in any other way. With us, they rub shoulders and exchange ideas - in tents and canoes, up mountains and in the jungle.

The Fair Earth Foundation is a UK Registered Charity (Number 1172989)
