The Plastic Bank is a global organisation fighting to end plastic pollution and its devastating impact on the marine environment in particular. We are offering the chance for individuals and companies to be Plastic Neutral.
As part of our Afforestation programme, we have tree planting programmes in the UK, Sri Lanka and Vietnam with plans to develop the programme in West Africa, the Caribbean and South America. Plant a Tree, Fund a Dream funding covers local communities maintaining and nurturing the planted trees in order to fund local education as well.
We have developed a Community Action database of grassroots organisations working for people and planet. Our volunteers can add to this list and we want to promote collaboration globally.
Our Global Citizen Vouchers are a way of giving back, and as a gift, these vouchers will empower people to look into the issues affecting the planet and then carefully decide how they want to make an impact. This a great way to help people take their first step into becoming Global Citizens.
