We have years of success stories working with groups! Please check out a few examples of what we have experience doing. If you want more information on tailoring a trip to your group, please email us.
educational field trips
UK, Ireland, Netherlands (courses and university societies) in environment, conservation, marine ecology, Spanish language, photography and geography
We have organised educational groups from across Europe for three decades helping faculty build bespoke itineraries based on the needs of their curriculum. Group size 10-60 students. Generally, we provide accommodation, board and transport for a bespoke itinerary. We give faculty the benefit of our extensive knowledge of the island including contacts for ‘expert’ speakers. Our support teams help to provide a strong framework for their students.
Manchester Metropolitan University have been sending groups across for ten years. They bring a group of faculty each leading cohorts of students on different courses. We help coordinate their activities both individually (special bird watching trips) and collectively (joint whale watching trips, Canarian evening meal on their final day, talks on our work to the group, etc.)
Bangor University Zoological Society bring out a group of around thirty members each year. They pay a special reduced rate and focus on research as well as taking part in the many activities that Tenerife has to offer.

scout groups
UK, Belgium, Holland
These groups vary between 10 – 40 in size. They are younger teenage boys or girls and come with a fairly high staff to student ratio. They want to ‘give back’ through community beach clean ups and working in local animal refuges; learn about volunteering on our whale & dolphin induction programme and give them opportunity to visit the whales; as well as talk about volunteering opportunities available around the world. They experience the island - cultural trips, craft markets, fiestas, etc) and undertake outdoor activities (sea kayaking, horse riding, surfing, climbing, sail boarding, etc.) They can also work on project work as further contribution to the programmes we run. They will receive certificates on completion of their time with us.
We supply accommodation; camping in high quality campsites is well received as an option as they get to take advantage of swimming pools, tennis courts and a multi-cultural camp experience as part of their trip. We will help develop and support their itineraries and provide full board and transport if needed.

fundraising groups
Our volunteer alumni have been bringing groups out for fundraising for many years, ever since first volunteering with us. The groups are usually university friends wanting to spend time together after the end of term. They join the volunteer programme, help with research guiding on the whale watching boats and take up many heavily discounted activities. They, of course, have a great time!
Normally they take on the Teide Challenge scaling the world’s third highest volcano overnight as a fundraiser.
In 2020, one particular group were going to Sri Lanka to take on the gruelling Adam’s Peak in the fabulous Hill Country - a famous multi faith pilgrim’s route with truly awe-inspiring views. Whilst in Sri Lanka they would have been looked after by the local community – accommodation, food, picnics and sightseeing included. They would also enjoy expert led jungle treks, working in an elephant sanctuary for a day, seeing whales and dolphins (including the fabulous blue whale) and leopards in Yala National Park. As with all of our programmes, they get to make up their own itinerary based on an extensive range of exciting options.

eu funded groups
We have been managing EU funded groups for a great many years. Erasmus programmes tend to be work experience based and are in partnership with our academic partners - colleges and universities.
Additionally, we cater for volunteer groups as part of the Prince's Trust or Duke of Edinburgh, community based, youth clubs, special needs providers (children and adults) and disadvantaged group providers. If you want to look into possibilities for funding groups particularly if from disadvantaged groups please let us know.
