True Fair Trading CIC is the Fair Earth’s ‘far trade’ not for profit. Fair Earth’ supports disadvantaged communities around the world by helping them to stand on their own feet. Support is in three areas: fair trade based on beautiful artisan goods produced; volunteer programmes (paid) providing youth, ideas and effort,  and income, and, most recently through developing eco-tourism opportunities and particularly ‘retreat’ based eco-tourism.
 
Over the years we have built a substantial community of people buying products through events such as RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Garden Festival; we have even disigned and built our own Fair Trade gardens at Hampton Court!!
 
We have three new programmes for 2024, to be launched at Chelsea Flower Show in the Spring:

• Global Village: we are currently buying and investing in products made by ‘local’ women artisans (in the main). We are micro financing production and advising on product design to make output more commercially viable. By buying these products you are supporting women around the world stand on their own feet and to live sustainable lives.
• Anu Art: working with internationally acclaimed artists we will be selling their work, including work commissioned especially for the programme with funds going into the Anu Art Fund. This fund will be used to take art workshops into some of the poorest communities on the planet aimed at developing creative talent within local women and children. The fun will have the possibility of micro financing art production to help make artists and communities self supporting. Work created will be sold through the True Fair Trading website.
• Ed’s Emporium: Having founded the Foundation many year’s ago ‘Ed’ is starting to slow down; he no longer has the energy he used to have. One thing that he thoroughly enjoys is rummaging through markets and as he travels between projects globally and continuously he comes across interesting and extraordinary things, beautiful things!!!   These will be available to buy from the Spring with profits going into the Anu Art Fund.
