Research Diving Course
Introduction to Course
Knowledge and curiosity are the pillars upon which all discovery is built. The Research Diver course will enhance your knowledge of underwater ecosystems and aquatic life. Combined with your own natural curiosity, you will find that you see much more in the reef or kelp forests than ever before.
Throughout this course, you will learn the necessary skills and knowledge in basic Research Diving. In the end, you will be better able to identify, discover, explore, and appreciate the underwater environment by using research techniques and gain
a better understanding of how to preserve and protect the underwater environment.
We use highly experienced PADI instructors that the AWdF have worked with for 30 years, most of our volunteers do their PADI open water course whilst they are with us, some of their favourite memories of Tenerife.
If you want the chance to be surrounded by cetacean researchers and likeminded people who are passionate about ocean conservation, whilst diving in the clear, warm waters and great weather in Tenerife, then this course is definitely for you.
