Name your scars
(Sacred storytelling and art workshop)

Researchers use scars on dolphin fins to identify them. We humans, we tend to hide our scars, we try to avoid them, to overcome them quickly. But they are also part of our identity. The scars that became our greatest strengths and the scars that are our failures, but we survived anyway. They are part of who we are and should be a part of what we stand for in the world.

In the first part of this short workshop we will softly like dolphins dive into the language of scars (personal, environmental, cultural, social), and symbolic carve them into personal talismans, so we can own them and wear them in the light spirit of dolphin.
In the second part, those would like to give voice to their scars will learn the magic of simple but powerful storytelling. We might even give voice to voiceless and with the echo of our stories creating the world we want to live in.

Earth is in turmoil, she needs us to be brave and extremely powerful to care, to feel. Name your scars is an invitation for people who are brave enough to be vulnerable.
