Healing community
In this set of three workshops, you will learn basic mindfulness, body and breath practices to support you in leading a more conscious life by learning to align more consciously with your destiny. This is a closed group in order to enable some depth work, and support one another in releasing blocks to relationship, reducing anxiety, and exploring collective ways of ongoing community. At the end you will have learnt a set of practices that can help you overcome fear, open the heart, and find creative ways of working together.
Workshop 1. Saturday 10-12
In workshop 1 you will learn some basic mindfulness practices, and how to become mindful in relationship.
Workshop 2. Monday 10-12
You will be introduced to a basic mindfulness-based body practice called Kum Nye, Tibetan Yoga, accompanied by a breathing practice called holographic breathing. This will give you the tools to explore holding blocks in the body and return to the original matrix of your being.
Workshop 3: Wednesday 10-12
You will consolidate the work of the previous two workshops, and undergo a life review, in which you can view the pattern of your life within your own field, and release blocks that are holding you back from fully realising your potential.
Full One-day Workshop
Healing community: working with ancestral and collective trauma
As the waves of lockdown ebb away, it is clear that the world is not the same as the one we left in March 2020. How can we as individuals meet the collective consequences of lockdown? In this workshop we will be exploring how to work with our individual and
collective trauma by developing our own capacity to sense into the ancestral, social and spiritual layers that are interwoven within our lives. This is called embodied field inquiry.
We will evoke a ‘holding field’ with the understanding that whatever constellates within the field contains the echoes and memories of our collective past, as well as the potentialities for the future.
This is contained within individual memory, and what Jung would call the collective unconscious. This is stored as memory within our bodies. We will be exploring this through deep mindfulness and holographic breathing methods to access the wisdom of our bodies.
This compassionate witnessing brings with it the potential for healing of developmental, intergenerational and cultural trauma. We will also be supported by inviting in the broader holding field echoed through the different spiritual and contemplative traditions.
