The brain tumour charity - the nick hart fund
Location: UK
Nick was a caring family man with a great sense of humour that lived his life to the full. He worked as a cameraman for 25 years, during that time he travelled the world and met all kinds of people. In April 2014 Nick was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a rare high grade terminal brain tumour. Nick fought bravely for seven months but sadly on the 14 November 2014 he lost his battle with the illness. This fund was set up in his name. The Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece, with particular emphasis on the Rescue Centre in Athens, rehabilitates sick and injured turtles from around the Mediterranean. The most shocking and common injury is unfortunately deliberate head injuries! The Mali Elephant Project

This projects goal is to target poaching in Mali by offering offers sustainable economic opportunities to people in the region. Youth are trained to be “eco-guardians” and women are encouraged to collect non-timber natural resources, giving people greater economic independence. Mediterranean association to save the sea turtles

Ol Pejeta Conversancy
Location: Kenya
This is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and home to two of the last northern white rhino. The sanctuary rehabilitates animals recovered from the black market. They help to ensure wildlife conservation translates to better education, healthcare and infrastructure. An organisation that conducts innovative biological research, reduces poaching, educates and employs the local community, and helps local girls go to school. Esperanza Verde

Third Millennium Alliance
Location: Ecuador
They protect and connect Ecuador's costal rainforests for wildlife and people. Currently, 96% of Ecuador's coastal rainforest has already been lost through deforestation. Mondulkiri Elephant Sanctuary (LEAF)
Location: Cambodia
The local environmental awareness foundation (LEAF), aims to promote ecotourism and establish conservation incentives in rural Cambodia. LEAF works with the Mondulkiri Elephant Sanctuary to protect and defend over 70 hectares from illegal hunting and logging. By developing ethical ecotourism projects it creates livelihoods and stability for local Bunong families, reducing dependency on illegal logging and hunting. The Orangutan Alliance advocates the use Palm Oil Free products. They provide free 'No Palm Oil' certificates to provide consumers clarity about palm oil use, as well as bridging the gap between consumer and manufacturer. reforest action
Location: France
Their projects aim to preserve and restore forests in France and abroad. They favour multi-species planting projects adapted to the local ecosystem. Meeting the commitments inscribed in their charter, they take different forms depending on the region: agroforestry, afforestation, or assisted natural regeneration. These initiatives are funded by individuals and companies, and are led locally by partners in the field: foresters, social enterprises, associations, and NGOs. Coral Gardeners

They are taking action to resolve the problems our reefs are facing. They aim to SAVE the coral reefs through education and coral reef restoration. They do this by transplanting coral cuttings onto degraded areas of reef. When these coral fragments grow, they help to recreate reef habitats. Sangha Pangolin Project
Location: Central African Republic
Situated in Dzanga-Sangha National Park, and based at the Sangha Biodiversity Lodge, this project is focused on rescuing pangolins from the illegal wildlife trade and releasing them when healthy. The lodge has received a large number of live pangolins from the bushmeat trade, which have been rehabilitated as best as possible and soft released. Pangolins have become an urgent conservation cause for us, and we aim to protect and to increase the knowledge about them. The founders hire 50 local Ba'Aka hunters who subsistence hunt in the area to run the hotel and help with construction and conservation. They also run projects in research and education of locals. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust rescue and rehabilitate wild orphaned elephants, rhinos and more. They conduct aerial surveillance surveys to prevent illegal activity and support grounds teams, as well as running anti-poaching teams along side a canine unit. rape hurts foundation
Location: Uganda
Their aim is to right social injustices in Uganda, which arise from poverty, gender inequality, poor governance and denial of rights. They run 'The Tammy Morrison Women & Children's Hospital' to respond to the over 2000 cases of extreme sexual and gender violence every year. They are also building a GBV House (Gender Based Violence House) to house 45 women and children who are victims of rape and other violence. Indo Jax donate their time and money to local charities, sponsoring local charity events, as well as offering free surf camps to various groups ranging from children infected with HIV, to children with autism. The motto at the school is simple, “We are nothing if we don’t give back!” Their ultimate goals are to teach people to surf in a fun and safe learning environment, bringing surfing to people who might otherwise not have a chance to do so. Baby Bank Network was set up in Bristol in June 2015 to help alleviate child poverty and support families who may be in a time of financial and emotional stress, whilst reducing waste and promoting reuse of items. They collect baby clothes, toiletries, equipment, cots, prams and toys that are pre-loved, and pass them on to families in need. They receive referrals from health visitors, children’s centres and other local professionals who work with vulnerable families.
