Faye Mogenson

Faye lives on the West Coast of Canada, where she has been inspired by the many whales and dolphins she’s been fortunate to see. Sharing personal stories about encounters with animals is not new to her. When working as a Park Naturalist in the 1980's, she discovered storytelling as a wonderful tool for opening conversation about nature and the environment. She has a Masters of Education, with a focus on storytelling as a tool for environmental change. 
 
Faye also loves to delve into folktales from all around the world, especially from her Scandinavian Heritage. She seeks stories that celebrate nature and inspire generosity and hope. Her book, Ancient Stories for Modern Times: 50 Wisdom Tales for All Ages was released in June 2016. fayetales.com
