Bronwen Rees

Dr Bronwen Rees was a pioneer in introducing mindfulness practices into the workplace, as Director of the Centre for Transformational Practice, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge
and has published, lectured and led retreats worldwide.

She is a psychotherapist, teacher, and the founder of the East West Sanctuary in Budapest.

She has practiced mindfulness for over 25 years and is an ordained member of the Triratna Buddhist Order.

She has just completed a Hungarian translation of the I Ching and in 2024 will be launching ‘The Chiron Academy’ bringing together the insights and practices of the perennial wisdoms with modern science as humanity transitions to another level of consciousness.

More information can be found on her website:

Opening ritual and talk; Friday
Bronwen will invoke a spiritual and ancestral holding field to support the work of the retreat. She will explore how reconnecting with the ancient shamanic consciousness in the
light of modern day consciousness will be critical in the healing of our global community.
This is part of an evolution of consciousness necessary for our time, and for healing as the world struggles with the trauma of the last three years and a global response which has challenged our ways of life, of being and our relationships.
